Information we collect

Information you give us

Name, email address, mobile number, delivery and billing address when you place an order or create an account.
Messages you send through the contact form, email, phone or WhatsApp.
Details you provide for a return or warranty claim, such as the device IMEI or serial number and a description of the fault.
Your email address if you subscribe to our newsletter or ask to be notified when a product is back in stock.

Information collected automatically

Device and browser type, IP address, pages viewed and items added to the cart, collected through cookies and similar technologies.

Information from others

If you sign in with Google, Facebook or Apple, we receive your name and email address from that provider.
Our payment provider tells us whether a payment succeeded. Our courier gives us delivery status.

Payment information

Card and Apple Pay payments are processed through N-Genius by Network International on its secure payment page. Phonebot does not receive or store your full card number or CVV.

To process, deliver and invoice your order.
To send order, delivery, return and warranty updates.
To answer your questions and provide support.
To prevent fraud and keep our website secure.
To meet legal, tax and accounting requirements.
To improve our website and product range.
To send marketing emails or messages, only if you have opted in. You can unsubscribe at any time.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:

Aramex, to deliver your order (name, address, mobile number).
Network International, to process your payment.
Service providers that host our website, send our emails and provide analytics and advertising tools, under confidentiality obligations.
Authorities, when required by UAE law or to protect our legal rights.

Some of our support and technical staff work outside the UAE. Where they access customer information, they do so under the same confidentiality and security standards.

Cookies and advertising

We use cookies to keep items in your cart, remember your language and keep you signed in. We also use analytics and advertising tools from Google and Meta. These set cookies that measure how the site is used and may show you Phonebot ads on other websites and apps.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. You can manage ad personalisation in your Google and Meta account settings. If you block cookies, the cart and checkout may not work properly.

How long we keep information

We keep order, invoice and warranty records for as long as needed to service your purchase and to meet legal and tax requirements. We keep account information until you ask us to delete your account. We keep marketing preferences until you unsubscribe.

How we protect information

Our website uses SSL encryption. Access to customer information is limited to staff who need it to do their work. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to:

give you a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
correct information that is wrong or out of date;
delete your account and personal information, where we are not required by law to keep it;
stop sending you marketing messages.

Email support@phonebot.ae from the address linked to your order or account. We respond as soon as we reasonably can.

Devices you send to us

Before returning a device, back up and erase your data and remove any account lock. We erase any data left on returned devices and do not access it for any other purpose.

Children

Our website is a general retail store and is not aimed at children. If you believe a child has given us personal information without a parent's or guardian's consent, contact us and we will delete it.

Links to other websites

Our website links to other sites, such as Aramex tracking and our social media pages. Their privacy practices are their own.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version. Significant changes will be posted on this page.
