What decides the price of a used iPhone 17 in the UAE

Three things set the price of a second hand iPhone 17: the model, the storage capacity and the condition grade. A Pro Max with 1TB in Like New condition sits at one end; an iPhone 17e with 256GB in B-Grade sits at the other. Within a single model, moving from 256GB to 512GB costs more than moving from A-Grade to Like New. If you want the lowest price on a given model, filter by B-Grade first. Condition grades explained

Every pre-owned iPhone 17 on this page carries one of four grades. The grade tells you about cosmetic condition and battery health. Function is identical across grades because every phone has passed the same hardware test.

• Open Box: Unused or barely used, original packaging opened. Battery health at or near 100%.
• Like New: No marks visible at arm's length. Battery health above the A-Grade threshold.
• A-Grade: Light signs of use that are hard to see. Battery health 80% or higher on the iPhone 17 series.
• B-Grade: Visible scratches or marks on the frame or back. Fully functional. Battery health 80% or higher.

How we test each renewed iPhone 17

Before an iPhone 17 is listed, our technicians run a full hardware check: display and touch response, Face ID, all cameras including the 48MP telephoto on Pro models, speakers, microphones, charging port, MagSafe, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 5G and cellular on UAE networks. We read battery health directly from iOS and assign the grade from that reading plus a cosmetic inspection. We run the IMEI against global blacklist databases so the phone cannot be blocked later, and we confirm the phone has no active carrier lock. Each device is then factory reset with Activation Lock removed, so you set it up as a new phone.

SIM type, eSIM and network
