Apple Watch SE 44mm and 40mm

The refurbished Apple Watch SE 44mm and the 40mm use the same S5 chip, the same sensors and 32GB of storage. The difference is the display size and how the case sits on your wrist.

• Apple Watch SE 44mm: 1.78-inch Retina LTPO OLED display, 368 x 448 pixels. More room for text, maps and workout metrics. Takes bands made for 42mm, 44mm and 45mm cases.
• Apple Watch SE 40mm: 1.57-inch Retina LTPO OLED display, 324 x 394 pixels. Lighter and a closer fit on smaller wrists. Takes bands made for 38mm, 40mm and 41mm cases.

GPS or GPS + Cellular

A GPS Apple Watch SE tracks workouts and routes on its own, but calls, messages and streaming need your iPhone nearby or a known Wi-Fi network. A GPS + Cellular model adds an eSIM, so the watch can call, message and stream without the phone once you add a watch plan. Cellular models are sold unlocked. Before choosing Cellular, check that your UAE carrier offers an Apple Watch plan on your account.

Apple Watch SE vs SE 2022

The 2nd generation keeps the 40mm and 44mm sizes and adds the S8 chip and Crash Detection. It runs up to watchOS 26, while the 1st generation stops at watchOS 10. Neither generation gets watchOS 27. Choose the refurbished Apple Watch SE 2022 if you want newer software and Crash Detection. If you need ECG or blood oxygen, compare our other refurbished Apple Watches too.

Grades and Battery Health

The grade is shown in each listing title. Phonebot uses four grades, and the grades in stock for the SE change over time.

• Open Box: unused or barely used, in original condition.
• Like New: no visible wear on the case or display.
• A-Grade: light signs of use. Battery health of 85% or higher on older models, 80% or higher on newer models.
• B-Grade: visible marks on the case, fully functional. Battery health of 80% or higher.

You can confirm the figure yourself after delivery. On the watch, open Settings, then Battery, then Battery Health.

Testing a Used Apple Watch SE

Before a pre-owned Apple Watch SE is listed, we test the display and touch response, the Digital Crown and side button, the heart rate sensor, speaker and microphone, GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and charging. GPS + Cellular watches also get an IMEI blacklist check. Each watch is then factory reset and unpaired from its previous Apple ID, so it is ready to set up with your iPhone. A compatible magnetic charger is included.

Warranty, Returns and Delivery

Every second hand or renewed Apple Watch SE comes with a warranty of up to 12 months, with the exact term stated on the product page, and 7-day returns. Delivery is free across the UAE on orders above AED 299. You can also visit our store in BurJuman Centre, Dubai, to see a watch before you buy. Phonebot holds a Carbon Neutral Certificate and a Recycling Excellence Certificate. If you are also considering Samsung, browse all our refurbished smartwatches.
