Samsung announced the Samsung Galaxy S23 release at the Galaxy Unpacked event on 1 February 2023. The phone was available on the shelves on 17 February 2023.

Samsung S23 is the smallest model of the flagship Samsung S series with dimensions of 5.76 x 2.79 x 0.30 inches and a weight of 168 g. Likewise, the phone gets the smallest display of 6.1" in the family.

The display technology is Dynamic AMOLED with a refresh rate of 120Hz. The screen resolution is 1080 x 2340 pixels with a pixel density of about 425.

The phone also gets an IP68 rating making it dust and water-resistant up to 1.5 m for 30 minutes. As for the body, the phone is sandwiched in Gorilla Glass Victus 2 and Armor Aluminum frame, giving it a higher scratch and drop resistance.

The phone runs on the latest Qualcomm processor, Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, tailored specifically for the Samsung Galaxy S23 family. With this system-on-chip, rest assured you'll get a seamless gaming experience.

Samsung S23 Plus Specs and Features

The display panel, resolution, and refresh of S23+ are the same as S23. The only difference is that Samsung Galaxy S23 gets a larger display of 6.6" with a slightly lower 393 PPI.

The phone measures 6.21 x 3.00 x 0.30 inches and weighs 196 g. Like S23, the plus model has the same water and dust-resistant rating.

The body features the same Gorilla Glass Victus 2 on the back and front and an Armor Aluminum frame.

The phone supports 8GB RAM, but this time the base storage option is 256GB. For future-proofing, you'll have to go for the second and last option of 512GB.

The Samsung Galaxy S23 plus camera setup features the same specs as the S23 model. The rear cameras can record up to 8K video while the front camera features 4K recording at 30 and 60fps.

The S23 brings a world of differences. The phone is notably the largest in the family measuring 6.43 x 3.07 x 0.35 inches and weighing 234 g.

The big size allows Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra to feature a built-in S-Pen. Likewise, S23 Ultra also features the 6.8" largest display in the Samsung Galaxy S23 lineup. There's a Quad HD + Dynamic AMOLED display panel with 1440 x 3088 resolution, 500 PPI, and 120Hz refresh rate.
